	Hello I need some help on If statements Presales Out CDC In CDC due CDC out 02/03/2010 03/03/2010 04/03/2010 03/03/2010 04/03/2010 05/03/2010 04/03/2010 05/03/2010 06/03/2010 05/03/2010 06/03/2010 07/03/2010 06/04/2010 01/01/1900 01/01/1900 07/03/2010 08/03/2010 09/03/2010 08/03/2010 09/03/2010 10/03/2010 09/03/2010 10/03/2010 11/03/2010 10/05/2010 11/05/2010 01/01/1900 16/05/2010 17/05/2010 18/05/2010 17/05/2010 18/05/2010 19/05/2010 00/01/1900 01/01/1900 01/01/1900 19/05/2010 20/05/2010 21/05/2010 20/05/2010 21/05/2010 22/05/2010 21/05/2010 22/05/2010 23/05/2010 I now want if the date is 00/01/1900 in first column then it should say Presales in, if its in 2nd column then CDC in and in 3r column CDC due. If there is no 00/01/1900 then it should say CDC out. Please help Thanks deepak

	Combine IF statement with LOOKUP functions Rate this: (3/5 from 1 vote) You should first execute a VLOOKUP function on each of the columns using the option FALSE at the end to return only exact matches.  An IF function can then be used to evaluate which column (if any) contains the date desired. The functions can be combined into one cell by embedding them; however it will be easier to first create the functions in separate cells and optionally join them at the end.

	VLOOKUP explained Rate this: (3/5 from 1 vote) The VLOOKUP function should be as follows. =VLOOKUP(date value to be found,column range,column offset: 1 for the same column,FALSE for exact match only)
