For empty cells you can use IF(C3<>"",1,0). There is also the BLANK formula which returns TRUE or FALSE. However, if the cell contains a 0 (zero) then you may want to add another test to the formula with and AND directive. You can also look at the "Information" category of functions in Excel which return details such as errors and data types. | ||
