To count how many times a word appears in the column (such as "RUN" in your case) you can use the COUNTIF function which takes he form of: =COUNTIF(Cell range to count, text criteria) You may also want to look at the SUMIF funtion which will total the values in another column that have the same row criteria as "RUN" or "OFF". This simply takes and extra parameter at the end which is the columns to range to sum. | ||
