The new 'Download_Market_Data' spreadsheet no longer allows downloading adjusted close data, even though this is still available in the Yahoo historical data csv file. Is there any way around this? Thanks, Al B. | |

 | Rate this: (3/5 from 1 vote) The new market data download file now uses Google Finance which does not supply the Adjusted Close price for splits, buy backs and dividends. |

| Rate this: (3.7/5 from 3 votes) After I tried to open the "download_market_data.xls" file, I am unable to open the excel file since the McAfee software deletes the file after detecting it as a virus file. I have not found a way to deactive this McAfee either, as it runs each time excel opens.
I previously used the old .xls without problem, but discovered the old copy nologer downloads any data from either yahoo or google!
Any work around on this
